We've improved the process for extracting product names from Stripe transactions. Previously, product names from transactions processed through platforms like ThriveCart were formatted as “Purchase of {product} via ThriveCart,” which could complicate the identification of the product name.
We've refined it to filter out unnecessary wording, allowing for the direct display of the product name
2. Fixing the RFM_PRODUCTS_PURCHASED Custom Field Bug
Our second update is a bug fix related to the RFM_PRODUCTS_PURCHASED custom field. Before this fix, there was an issue where a new product purchase would overwrite the previously set values in this custom field.
For example, if a customer bought two products last week, these were saved in the RFM_PRODUCTS_PURCHASED field. However, if the same customer purchased another product later, the new product would replace the previous two.
This issue has been addressed. The RFM_PRODUCTS_PURCHASED field now captures all products a customer purchases, maintaining a complete history without overwriting previous entries. Regardless of the number of products bought, the record of their purchases remains intact and accessible.
Setting up Mailvio to keep track of what each contact has bought from you has always been possible but cost quite a bit of effort (like with every other Email Marketing platform). With this update, it is now near zero effort. All you need to do is link the Mailvio RFM Tool with your payment platform(s).
After linking your payment platform with Mailvio RFM, any transaction imports will automatically extract product information. This process forms distinct buyer groups based on their purchases. For instance, if you have two products, namely Product 1 and Product 2, when customers buy these and their transactions are imported into Mailvio RFM, two separate groups will be created. Each group is named after the product, categorizing customers according to their specific purchases.
This significantly simplifies the process of targeting specific buyers from a given product group. You can now effortlessly reach out to them through automated campaigns or additional email broadcasts, tailoring the content to what you want them to engage with.

We have a great update! In partnership with JVZoo, we've successfully tackled the issue of duplicate transaction imports for those using Stripe and PayPal for the Mailvio RFM tool.
If you've integrated JVZoo with Stripe and/or PayPal, you'll love this update. From now on, our system automatically identifies and removes any transactions that would have been imported twice. This means smoother, more accurate transaction processing without the hassle of dealing with duplicates.
